Louis was very polite and I want to help him. So here is what he says:

Hey there!

Being an avid Sims 2 fan, I was quite disappointed to see that The Sims 3 wasn’t really its next generation, but rather a spinoff. It’s not a matter of personal taste and whether or not I like the game – I just think, and I know that many agree with me, that TS3 is so different than TS2 that its name is merely a gimmick, and its presentation was rather falkse. Again, I don’t have anything against the game itself, but I think it was silly of EA to abandon TS2 completely.

So, I think that if EA made another EP for The Sims 2, that wouldn’t only make many TS2 fans very glad, but would also be a big business opportunity for them, because otherwise they might lose a rather hefty market.

Bottom line is – I made an internet petition. I know it’s a long shot, but who knows. Maybe EA will understand making a new Sims 2 EP would be good for them.

So if you agree (because it’s really not about liking or disliking The Sims 3), and would like EA to make another EP for TS2, could you please post a link to this petition on your site and ask your readers to sign it?

Milano Sims is no longer updating

Hey there!

Just a quick announcement, I will no longer update the site, as I am moving on to other things.

As you may have noticed for some months now, the site has fewer and fewer updates. I no longer have the passion for this, it was the best hobby I had, but now I found new activities to entertain me.

For those of you who wrote me in the past months saying how much you like the site, what I do and that you wish I would continue, I am really sorry. But you know just as I do that the community is ever growing and new sites pop to life everytime. So you will have plenty of custom content for the games.

So thank you SO much for the love and support, it was a great help.

I hope the site will be online for a few more months.

Milano Sims2 is 1 year old!

Yay!

Milano Sims2 is 1 year old as of December 3rd 2009.

I am so happy that I started this and all of your emails and good words, just a simple thank you, helped me a lot.

I hope you will enjoy the update!

I Am Legend

I am currently reading I am Legend by Richard Matheson, wrote back in the ’50s. Good books were written back then, huh?

I first saw the movie and later found out that its based on a novel. I know that the hollywoodian ending is different than the original one and I am sure I can find it somewhere on youtube but its nice to read the book and compare it to the movie.

Game related, I am playing Return to Mysterious Island 2, can`t believe I had so much patience for the sequel to this and I am happy I am not disappointed. Can`t say the same about Still Life 2

Listening to Placebo “Battle for the Sun” album.

Finished the book. Cried my eyes out. Too sad, too violent, very different from the movie.

Although the main character is white, blue eyed and blond hair I kept seeing Will Smith )

I was glad to notice that the main character did not have a dog because in the movie it dies and it is a sad moment. Unfortunately, in the book, the dog does appear, its story is more sad and has the same awful ending. Damn it!

And the ending is so different from the movie, part of the plot is completely changed and the original ending have nothing in common, except the main characters` death.

Sad novel but full of depth and I recommend it, you can find it here.
